About the Cafe
At Playful Paws Cat Café, we love our animals and aim to create a safe, fun, and entertaining environment for them to spend time with our visitors, and vice versa. Our belief is that there should always be a place where people and animals can relax and celebrate their love for each other.
We also know that Bend is an amazing, supportive, animal-centric community. That’s why we created our Cat Café here. We are hoping to become a top destination for anyone looking for a relaxed, indoor experience (because even in Bend, you can't be outside ALL the time) and some cuddly cats. What are you waiting for? Who We Are
So who are these crazy cat people?

We’re the Ferguson family - the folks behind Playful Paws Cat Café, a little dream turned big reality! Since opening our doors in 2023, our cozy lounge has helped over 300 cats and kittens find their forever homes—and welcomed thousands of people looking for a little purr therapy along the way.
It all started when April (our resident cat whisperer and lifelong cat mom) started fostering kittens during COVID and realized how much help these furry friends need. A family trip to Lucky Cat Café & Lounge in Louisville, Kentucky sealed the deal: Bend needed a place where cats and people could meet, mingle, and maybe even change each other’s lives.

Two years later, here we are—still a family-run spot, still fueled by a love of cats, and still so grateful for the support of this amazing community. Thanks for being part of our story!
