Adopting a cat through the cafe

Ready to adopt?  Here's how!

CCREW Adoptions

Complete the CCREW Adoption Application and text a photo of it to Ashley at 541-771-9631. When your application is received, they'll let us know to mark the cat you applied for as "Pending Adoption."

After they review your application, a CCREW volunteer will reach out to you to complete the adoption process.  Once the process is complete, CCREW and PPCC will work with you to schedule a pickup time at PPCC during business hours.

HSCO Adoptions

Complete the Humane Society's Adoption Questionnaire and email it to info@hsco.org. When the application is received, they'll let us know to mark the cat you applied for as "Pending Adoption."

After they review your application, a staff member will reach out to you to complete the adoption process.  You will need to go to the HSCO Shelter at 61190 SE 27th St. to complete the paperwork (PPCC is not able to process the paperwork at the café).

Once the adoption paperwork is complete, HSCO and PPCC will work with you to schedule a pickup time at PPCC.

We're partnered with some amazing local rescue partners to place adoptable cats and kittens in the café.

Cascade Canine Rescue East and West (CCREW) is a nonprofit 5013c in the Tumalo area of Bend, OR, that rescues and rehomes dogs and cats from urgent situations and shelters. They are a team of volunteers who are passionate about saving lives and addressing pet overpopulation.  To learn more about CCREW and their mission, visit their website.

The Humane Society of Central Oregon (HSCO) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the welfare and well-being of animals in the Central Oregon region. HSCO actively seeks to find loving and permanent homes for these animals through adoption programs, which makes them our perfect match! They facilitate the matchmaking process, striving to pair each pet with a compatible and caring family.

HSCO is also committed to educating the community about responsible pet ownership, animal welfare, and the importance of spaying/neutering. They offer various outreach programs, workshops, and resources to promote compassionate and informed practices. Visit their website to learn more.

These cats ain't cheap

Your cat lounge admission fee goes towards cat toys, treats, paying our amazing café staff and keeping the lights on. Our rescue partners provide the food and litter for the cats staying at the café, much of which is donated by the community. If you'd like to chip in and help our rescue partners provide supplies for the cats, you can drop off donations at the café during business hours.

HSCO has an online wish list.  Anything purchased here can be shipped directly to the shelter.  All donations to the shelter are tax deductible.

CCREW also has an online wish list. All donations to CCREW are tax deductible.
